Pepsi: DRIFTWELL

A visual tone aligned with product messaging — soft, inviting, and emotionally resonant.

In this animated campaign for Pepsi’s relaxation drink, character and color design focused on creating a gentle, calming atmosphere. Harsh outlines were avoided in favor of soft, fluid shapes, paired with a soothing color palette to reflect the product’s calming effect. This direction helps convey the brand’s message while enhancing visual appeal and emotional connection.

Time to destress and get some real chill. Try Driftwell, Pepsi’s enhanced still water beverage designed with relaxation in mind. 

Over our conversations with Pepsi, we realized that this commercial should emphasize the beverage’s soothing effect. Thus, we designed characters and developed a color palette that would create a calming and relaxing atmosphere. Harsh outlines were avoided to bring out soft, fluid shapes. We hope our animation would encourage people to include Driftwell into their evening wind-down rituals.
